If anyone is interested in a guided bear hunt give Frank with Top Notch Adventure a call. The La Crete area is beautiful and has a large population of bear and a good percentage of color phase bears. l did a lot of research and called other outfitters because it was my first guided hunt and many of them wouldn’t take the time to answer my questions or even return my calls until I called Frank. Frank took the time to help me through the process. The accommodation are great comfortable beds,warn rooms,hot shower. Franks wife, Kathy is a wonderful cook. My guide Greg was very knowledgeable of bears and a great person to meet. He helped me fill both my tags.
